On Wednesday, there was a chaotic situation at the Tikari branch of Punjab National Bank due to a sudden short circuit. Fortunately, no damage was caused during the incident. The branch was actively operating at the time of the incident, in the afternoon.

During regular bank operations, sparks of fire emerged as a result of the short circuit. This led to the customers present in the branch evacuating the premises, while the bank employees acted swiftly to turn off the power supply. As a consequence, the disruption in power supply resulted in the temporary suspension of the CCTV system. Umesh Kumar, the bank manager, mentioned that technicians were promptly called upon to restore the power supply and resume work operations.
It is fortunate that no one was harmed during this incident, and the necessary steps were taken to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
