A physical altercation has been reported between a branch manager and a clerk of Bank of India in Ratangarh town of Churu district in Rajasthan. Following the incident, the branch manager lodged a complaint with the police.
Bank of India branch manager Sunil Jat, a resident of Seuwa in Rajgarh, stated in his complaint that clerk Mayank Sharma returned to duty on Wednesday after remaining absent for several days. When the manager asked him to submit his leave-related documents, the clerk allegedly became angry.
The complaint alleges that Mayank Sharma assaulted the branch manager, threw bank documents on the floor, and verbally abused him. It is further alleged that the clerk threatened the manager, claiming links with the Rohit Godara gang, and issued death threats.
Sunil Jat also mentioned that Mayank Sharma had earlier been posted at the Churu branch and had personal resentment against him. Even after being transferred to the Ratangarh branch, the clerk allegedly continued to argue and create disputes.
Based on the written complaint, Ratangarh police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and have started investigating the matter.
More details will be released soon.
