The head office of Etah District Cooperative Bank in Tirthanagari has been negligent, leading to disruptions in the local bank branch. As a result, customers are facing various problems. The branch currently only has managers and cashiers, with no fourth-class employees present. Additionally, the branch manager frequently has to leave for the head office to handle departmental work. Consequently, the female cashier is left to handle all the responsibilities alone, including making entries in customer passbooks. Unfortunately, due to the workload, she is only able to inform customers about their account balances without updating their passbooks.

Poor Condition of the Bank Building

The local bank branch in Chandan Chowk is operating in a dilapidated building that has not undergone repair or painting for many years. Branch Manager Vijendra Kumar has already informed the main office about the shortage of staff and the poor condition of the bank building premises.

Customer Demands for Improvement

Several bank customers, including Prabhakar Parashar, Ramkishan Sharma, and Rajesh Gaur, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the irregularities and are demanding immediate action to rectify the situation.

It is crucial for the head office of Etah District Cooperative Bank to address these issues promptly, ensuring the smooth functioning of the local branch and providing better services to its customers.

  1. female cashier is being exploited by the Bank Management. She should report absolute incident with poor condition of Branch Building and copy should be mailed to The BM, AGM, Director of Labour commissioner, Women commision New Delhi.

Further, she should demand overtime from retrospective date.

  2. The BM of branch and AGM are not blind dumb and deaf for staff sake she has to mail to them those fellows may know that Chandan Chowk is a busy centre with maximum foot falls, it’s sheer negligence and irresponsible of both BM & AGM.
Both of them should be taken to task by the Management of SBI and Ministry of Finance.
It’s a harrasment by the BM & AGM towards the female cashier the National Women Commission should consider this as a suo motto case and initiate action against both the fellows

  3. This pathetic situation is not an isolated one. It is prevalent in all banks (including PSBs). Executives are more in number than sweepers in many regions.
