The Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), along with other farmer organizations such as the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), has announced a march to Delhi on Monday, demanding compensation and benefits under the new agricultural laws. The march will be led by BKP leader Sukhbir Khalifa, starting at noon on December 2 from under the Maha Maya flyover in Noida.
“We are prepared for our march to Delhi. On December 2, starting at noon from the Maha Maya flyover in Noida, we will demand the promised compensation and benefits under the new laws,” said Sukhbir Khalifa in a statement to ANI.
Traffic Disruptions and Advisories
To minimize traffic disruptions, Noida authorities have issued a traffic advisory and suggested alternative routes for commuters. Both the Delhi and Gautam Buddh Nagar police will implement stringent checks at borders, with barriers and diversions in place to manage traffic flow.
Restrictions on Heavy Vehicles
All goods vehicles will be prohibited from entering Delhi via key routes such as the Yamuna Expressway, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, and Surajpur. This is to ensure smoother traffic flow for passenger vehicles.
Alternate Routes for Commuters
- Chilla Border to Greater Noida: Use Sector 14-A flyover, proceed via Golchakkar (Sector-15), Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, and Jhunjhupura Chowk.
- DND Border to Delhi: Take the Film City flyover, proceed through Sector-18, and use the Elevated Road.
- Kalindi Border to Delhi: Use the Mahamaya flyover, proceed via Sector-37.
- Greater Noida to Delhi: Take Charkha Golchakkar, proceed via Kalindi Kunj.
- Greater Noida to Delhi via Sector-51: Use the Hajipur underpass, then proceed via Sector-51 and Model Town.
- Yamuna Expressway: Exit at Jewar toll, proceed via Khurja and Jahangirpur.
- Peripheral Expressway: Avoid the Sirska exit; take Dadri or Dasna exit instead.

- Use the Metro: Commuters are encouraged to rely on the Delhi Metro to avoid traffic disruptions.
- Stay Updated: Monitor traffic reports and advisories for real-time updates on diversions.
