- Shivkumar Singh withdrew Rs 10,000 from the SBI ATM near the SBI Bank branch on Saturday morning and discovered two fake Rs 500 notes in his cash.
- Vicky Mane, another affected user, withdrew Rs 7,000 from the same ATM and found one fake Rs 500 note among them.
When multiple users started facing the same issue, it became clear that something was seriously wrong with this ATM. All the affected people immediately reported the issue to the police at Kalan police station.
After receiving complaints from ATM users, Kalan police station in-charge Prabhash Chand immediately took action. He personally went to the ATM, sealed it, and assured that an investigation would be conducted to find out how the fake notes got into the machine.
