Major action has been taken against Dewas District Excise Officer Mandakini Dixit in the suicide case of contractor Dinesh Makwana, a resident of Indore Kanadiya in Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh government has suspended Mandakini Dixit. The action was taken after a video of contractor Dinesh Makwana went viral on social media 27 days after his suicide.

Contractor Dinesh Makwana committed suicide by consuming poison on November 8, 2025. In a viral video, he alleged that Mandakini Dixit was demanding ₹7.5 lakh per month for his five shops, at a rate of ₹1.5 lakh per shop. Makwana claims that he had paid her ₹20-22 lakh. Watch Video below 👇

Dinesh Makwana was a resident of the Kanadiya police station area of ​​Indore. He owned liquor contracts in the Chapra Group, Karnavad Group, and Double Chowki areas of Dewas district. He said that Mandakini Dixit was pressurising him to pay a bribe each month. Frustrated with this, he committed suicide.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav wrote on social media, “Taking cognizance of the viral video made by a liquor contractor in Dewas district before his suicide, the Assistant Excise Commissioner in charge of Dewas has been suspended with immediate effect. An investigation is underway against him. This case appears to be extremely serious at first glance.”
