Daylight Robbery at PNB Bank in Jalandhar, Cash Looted at Gunpoint
A robbery has taken place at a Punjab National Bank branch in Bank Enclave near Kukki Dhaba in Jalandhar. Two robbers entered the branch with pistols, took cash, and ran away.
According to the police, the robbers took money from the cashier at gunpoint. Bank staff said that around 2:30 PM, two young men entered the bank with pistols. They threatened the cashier and took the cash.

CCTV footage of the incident has also been investigated. It shows the robbers leaving the bank with a bag full of money. Their faces were covered. After that, they got on their scooter and escaped.
After getting the information, Manpreet Singh Dhillon reached the spot with a police team and started an investigation. He said that at around 2:30 PM, one robber went to the cashier and asked for all the money.

At first, the cashier tried to delay giving the money. But when the robber showed his pistol and gave death threats, the cash was handed over.
The officer also said that 3 to 4 customers were inside the bank at that time. The second robber stayed outside to keep watch. After taking the money, both robbers escaped from the spot.
Police said that bank staff are checking how much money was stolen. Several police teams have been formed to catch the robbers, and they may be arrested soon.
