Customer created chaos at Indian Bank, threatened to kill manager

On Monday, a young man caused a significant disturbance at the Indian Bank in Rath, Hamirpur. He forcibly entered the manager’s cabin, hurled abuses at the bank manager, and threatened to kill him.

Chaos and Police Intervention

The disturbance lasted for half an hour, disrupting the bank’s operations. The police were informed and arrived promptly, taking the youth to the police station. The bank manager has filed a complaint against the accused.

Account of the Incident

Rajneesh Kumar, the branch manager of Indian Bank, reported that the incident occurred at 11 AM. The young man, under the influence of alcohol, entered the manager’s cabin and began abusing and threatening to kill him. Despite multiple attempts by the bank staff and officials to persuade him to leave, the youth continued creating a ruckus.

Police Response

The branch manager alerted the UP Dial 112 police. The police arrived promptly and detained the accused, taking him to the police station. During the transfer, the youth continued to threaten the branch manager and the customers with death.

Formal Complaint and Investigation

Branch manager Rajneesh Kumar has filed a formal complaint at the police station, demanding action. Inspector Umesh Kumar Singh stated that the matter is under investigation.
