Customer files police complaint against Central Bank Manager for not telling Account Balance
A woman has filed a complaint at the police station against the manager of the Central Bank branch in Bardha, accusing him of being disrespectful and behaving indecently. Saroj Rani, the person filing the complaint, mentioned that her husband, Vijay Ahirwar, asked her to withdraw money from the bank on Friday. When she went to the branch manager to check her account balance and withdraw five thousand, he refused to tell her the balance.
Despite the refusal, the manager suggested using the online center for the transaction. However, Saroj Rani said she didn’t know how to do online transactions. Upset by her response, the branch manager instructed the security guard to forcefully remove her. Additionally, the manager physically assaulted and verbally abused her, leading to her being thrown out of the bank.
Disturbed by the incident, Saroj Rani sought help from her local MLA and submitted a formal complaint on Sunday. The MLA accompanied her to the police station, helped her file an application, and requested the station in-charge to take appropriate action in response to the alleged misconduct.
