Customer Booked After Depositing Fake Rs.500 Notes in HDFC Bank in Jaipur

A customer in Jaipur tried to deposit fake notes in HDFC Bank. The cashier checked the money and discovered the fake notes. After this, the bank branch manager filed an FIR against the customer at the Ramnagariya police station.

The incident is reported at HDFC Bank branch in Jagatpura. The FIR was filed by branch manager Rahul Kumar Singh. He said that a customer came to deposit cash. When the cashier checked the notes, they found 10 fake ₹500 notes. After the cashier informed the manager about the fake notes, the manager filed an FIR against the customer.

Several such incidents are being reported across India. The Government of India had implemented Demonetization to eradicate fake notes but still fake notes are being found all across India.
