Classic Electrodes (India) Limited, established in 1997 and based in Kolkata, West Bengal, is a well-known Indian manufacturer of welding consumables such as electrodes and MIG wires. The company produces different types of welding electrodes and also provides engineering solutions to customers in India and abroad. Its product range is designed for various industrial uses and includes mild steel electrodes for general welding, stainless steel electrodes for corrosion-resistant work, cast iron electrodes for repairing cast iron parts, deep penetration electrodes for heavy-duty welding, and MIG wires for metal inert gas welding. The company operates two manufacturing units—one in Dhulagarh, West Bengal, and another in Jhajjar, Haryana. Earlier, it also had a unit in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, which was closed in FY 2023-2024. These units are strategically located to ensure easy access to raw materials, transportation, and customers. As of February 28, 2025, the company employed 95 permanent staff.
