Central Bank of India Reports 15.65% Growth in Total Business in Q4 FY26, Business crosses Rs. 8 lakh crore mark

The Central Bank of India has released its provisional business figures for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year 2025-26.

According to the report, the bank’s total business increased to ₹8,12,814 crore as of 31 March 2026. This shows a year-on-year growth of 15.65% and a quarter-on-quarter growth of 5.00%.

The bank’s total deposits rose to ₹4,67,885 crore, recording a 13.37% increase compared to last year and a 3.84% rise from the previous quarter. CASA deposits (Current Account Savings Account) stood at ₹2,20,886 crore, growing 9.80% year-on-year and 4.30% quarter-on-quarter. However, the CASA ratio slightly declined to 47.31%.

The bank’s gross advances reached ₹3,44,929 crore, showing a strong 18.90% growth compared to last year and a 6.61% increase over the previous quarter. The Credit-Deposit (CD) ratio improved to 73.88%, indicating better utilization of deposits for lending. The bank clarified that these figures are provisional and subject to audit by its statutory auditors.
