Central Bank Manager Murder Case: Justice Delayed, People protest outside SSP Office in Muktsar Punjab
Farmers held a protest outside the SSP office in Muktsar, Punjab, demanding justice in the murder case of bank manager Simrandeep Singh Brar. The victim’s family, supported by the United Kisan Morcha and Bhartiya organizations, staged a sit-in outside the SSP office on Tuesday, demanding immediate action. The protesting groups stated that they had made repeated appeals to the administration for justice, but their pleas had gone unheard.
Till now, the A month ago, a Bank Manager Simrandeep Singh Brar was found dead in a canal in Muktsar, Punjab. His family accused eight people, including six doctors, of plotting his death. He was working as Manager in Central Bank of India.
Initially thought to be an accident, his death is now being treated as a possible murder after his family accused eight people, including six doctors, of conspiring to kill him over a loan dispute.
Simrandeep had attended a party on October 16 and was last seen near Bhullar village. His wife, Amandeep, became worried when he didn’t return home and reported him missing. After two days of searching, his body and car were recovered from a canal.
The family claims that Simrandeep had argued with his friend Kaku Sandhu over a ₹4 lakh loan, which may have led to his murder. The police have filed an FIR against eight individuals, and an investigation is ongoing to determine whether the death was an accident or a premeditated murder.
