Basti: The Kalwari police has recently taken action by registering a case against the branch manager of SBI Pokharni and two other employees. The charges brought against them include fraud, forgery, and making threats. Ashok Kumar, a resident of Pakri Mishrain in the Nagar police station area, filed a written complaint stating that his father, Ramnath, passed away on October 17, 2014. Despite his father’s demise, money was being withdrawn from his SBI Pokharni branch account on various dates. Ashok alleges that both the branch manager and unidentified bank employees were responsible for these unauthorized transactions. When he approached the bank to file a complaint, he was subjected to abusive language and received threats of severe consequences. The Kalwari police are now investigating the matter further.
