Canara Financial Advisory Trust (CFAT) invites applications for the engagement of a Deputy Managing Trustee on a contract basis for spreading financial literacy through its financial literacy centers at various locations.
Canara Financial Advisory Trust Deputy Managing Trustee Eligibility
The candidate should not be more than 62 years old as on 01.11.2025. The required qualification is that the applicant must be a retired Chief General Manager, General Manager, or Deputy General Manager from Canara Bank (including e-Syndicate). The applicant must also have experience in rural banking, financial inclusion, and financial literacy. There is one post available, and the selected candidate will be placed at the Trust’s Head Office in Bangalore. The job role is to assist the Managing Trustee in managing the affairs of CFAT.
The engagement will be purely contractual for a period of one year and may be extended at the sole discretion of CFAT for an additional one year per term, for a maximum of two terms, up to the age limit of 65 years.
Canara Financial Advisory Trust Deputy Managing Trustee Salary
Compensation and facilities include a monthly remuneration of Rs. 66,050 (TDS applicable), a consolidated conveyance allowance of Rs. 22,000 per month for vehicle or petrol expenses, and reimbursement of Rs. 1,000 per month for cell phone charges. The candidate will be entitled to 12 days of casual leave per year, with a maximum of four days allowed at a time. Working days will follow the Bank’s working days. For outstation travel, the candidate will receive travelling and halting allowances equivalent to those applicable to Chief General Managers, General Managers in TEG Scale VIII or VII, or Deputy General Managers in TEG Scale VI of the Bank, depending on the cadre from which the individual retired. If the candidate’s absence exceeds the permitted leave, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the consolidated payment.
The engagement of the Deputy Managing Trustee on a contract basis will be done through shortlisting and an interview.
