AIBOC, one of the largest constituents of UFBU, has filed a case in the Delhi High Court against the discriminatory new PLI scheme for senior executives of Public Sector Banks, introduced by DFS, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India.

The matter of new PLI scheme was pending with Chief Labour Commissioner but the Government unilaterally ordered public sector banks on 18 March 2026 to credit PLI to senior executives (Scale IV and above).

After the case was filed in the Delhi High Court, the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has ordered Banks not to credit PLI to senior executives and provide confirmation regarding the same.
