Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking turn of events, Sitapur’s Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) office witnessed something no one expected—a headmaster attacking an education officer right in front of staff. On Monday, Brijendra Kumar Verma, headmaster of Primary School Nadwa in Mahmudabad, was called to the BSA office. He was called to explain complaints made against him. But instead of answering questions, Verma lost his temper.

Reports say he first slammed a file on BSA Akhilesh Pratap Singh’s desk. Then, he pulled out his belt and began thrashing the officer. The CCTV clip shows the shocking moment—four belt strikes within just a few seconds—before staff members could even react.

When BSA tried to call the police, Verma allegedly grabbed his phone and smashed it. Employees present in the office tried to pacify the situation.

But why this happened? What’s the reason?

The background to the incident is as dramatic as the act itself. Verma had earlier issued a notice to an assistant teacher for negligence. That notice was shared in political groups leading to complaints. BSA warned him not to repeat such actions. In return, headmaster beat the BSA inside his office with belt.

Police FIR Filed

The police has arrested headmaster. An FIR has been filed, and the education department has suspended him.
