Three robbers looted Rs 6.83 lakh cash from a Punjab National Bank branch in Alwar’s Garhi Sawairam town on Tuesday afternoon. The robbers entered the bank and pointed pistols at the employees and customers, locking them all in a room. They then took out cash from the cash counter and fled.
The incident took place around 3:45 pm. There were 6 employees and some customers present in the bank at the time. The three robbers, who came on a bike, pointed a pistol at cashier Jitendra Mahawar as soon as they entered the bank. The second robber took PO Tina Meena, Babu Chandra Shekhar Sharma, and officer Dushyant Tiwari to the stationery room at gunpoint. The third robber took the customers in the bank to the stationery room and locked them up.
Meanwhile, one of the robbers went to the cash counter and took Rs 6,83,400 in cash in a bag. The three robbers then fled the bank.
After the incident, the bank employees and customers informed the police. The police arrived at the scene and started investigating.
According to the police, the robbers are aged around 20 to 25 years. They had covered their faces with towels. From their dialect, it seems that the robbers are from Bharatpur. The police are searching for the robbers.

- Alwar Additional SP Suresh Khinchi, Rajgarh DSP Uday Singh Meena, Reni SHO Rajesh Meena, and Ghadi Sawai Ram चौकी in-charge Bhajan Lal Meena also arrived at the scene.
- The police have started searching for the robbers.
