Bank of India Expands with 111 New Branches, Total Branches Reach 5301

Bank of India, one of the country’s leading public sector banks, has announced the opening of 111 new branches across the nation on Monday. This move marks a significant step in the bank’s efforts to strengthen its presence and reach out to more customers.

Among the newly opened branches, 6 are located in the Kolkata region, with 5 branches in West Bengal and 1 in Sikkim. These branches come under the Field General Manager Office (FGMO) in Kolkata, further boosting the bank’s network in these states.

With these new openings, Bank of India’s total branch count has increased to 5,301 branches across the country. Specifically, the number of branches under the six zones of FGMO Kolkata has grown from 468 to 474.

The bank has shared plans for even more branch expansions in the current and next financial year, expecting to drive substantial business through these new locations. This expansion is part of the bank’s broader strategy to enhance its customer base and service capabilities.
