
In a shocking incident, the manager of Prathma UP Bank (sponsored by Punjab National Bank), Deepak Mishr, and regional office employee Manish Kumar were brutally beaten by a customer during a loan recovery visit in Kisan Credit Card. The incident took place in Muderva Kala Village, where they went to recover dues from a customer named Bhagwan Das.
According to the bank manager, as soon as they approached the customer, he, along with his sons and other individuals, launched a violent attack. They not only physically assaulted the bank manager and employee but also subjected them to verbal abuse. The assailants used a rod as a weapon and even threatened to take their lives. Fearing for their safety, the bank manager escaped from the scene.
The bank union has strongly condemned this incident and demanded that the administration take immediate action. They emphasized that such incidents, where bank staff members are targeted during loan recovery, are becoming increasingly common. The bank union has urged the police to promptly arrest the accused and ensure justice is served.
