In a shocking incident, a bank manager in Narnaul, Haryana, was attacked by one of his own employees. The manager, identified as Rajendra Kumar, sustained serious head injuries in the assault and had to be hospitalized.

According to the police complaint filed by Kumar, he was leaving the Ujjivan Bank branch on Rewari Road at around 6:30 pm on Friday evening when he was accosted by his employee, Prem Prakash. Prakash allegedly attacked Kumar, causing him severe head injuries.

Thankfully, two other bank employees, Shivam Sharma and Anil Kumar, intervened and rescued Kumar from Prakash’s clutches.

Prakash reportedly threatened Kumar, saying, “I’ve let you go today, but if I ever find you alone, I’ll kill you.”

Kumar was immediately rushed to the civil hospital by Sharma, where he was treated and discharged later at night.

Based on Kumar’s complaint, the police have registered a case against Prakash under Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet.

This incident highlights the growing concern over workplace violence and the need for stronger measures to protect employees from such attacks. Employers should implement strict safety protocols and provide adequate training to their staff on conflict resolution and violence prevention.
