Bank Executive Officer Slapped by Driver, Watch Video

A shocking incident took place in Jhajjar’s Co-operative Bank when the bank’s Executive Officer (EO) was slapped by a former driver inside the office. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the driver approaching the EO and slapping him. Watch video below 👇

The entire event was recorded on the bank’s CCTV cameras. Both the EO and the driver have lodged complaints with the police, and an investigation is underway.

What Led to the Incident?

• The driver, Chhabila, had been working in the bank since 2017 under HKRN (Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam).
• He was removed from his job three days ago.
• On Monday, when he went to mark his attendance, the EO refused, stating that he had been officially removed.
• Chhabila claims that the EO also abused him and misbehaved, which led to the altercation.

Dispute Over Vehicle Replacement

• According to reports, a bank vehicle was declared condemned in 2023 and later auctioned.
• A proposal for a new vehicle has been made, but the bank has not yet purchased it.
• Chhabila alleges that instead of hiring another driver, the Vice Chairman’s son’s vehicle was engaged for bank work.
• He argues that family members of employees or board members cannot benefit from such contracts.

Bank EO’s Response

• EO Sandeep Rajyan confirmed that for the past one and a half years, the Vice Chairman’s son’s vehicle has been used for bank work under the kilometer scheme.
• He clarified that the Vice Chairman’s son lives separately from his father and has a different family ID, meaning no rules have been violated.

At present, police are investigating the case and will determine the necessary legal action.
