UPGB Employees claimed that this practice causes physical and mental stress and puts employees’ safety at risk. According to the protesting employees, staff members are under constant pressure from the management.

They said that employees are often threatened with action if they do not follow instructions, even when it involves working late into the night. The employees believe that the accident happened due to exhaustion and late working hours.
