A cooperative bank employee has been accused of robbing a woman in Shakarpura village of Jakhal area of ​​Fatehabad district. Accused Amarjit Singh attacked the woman when she was alone in the house with a sharp weapon. He robbed the woman of 1.25 tola gold earrings and Rs. 1.5 lakh. Police has started investigation on the complaint of the case.

According to the information, the victim Sundarlal said that he had withdrawn 50 thousand rupees from Dharsool Cooperative Bank on Friday morning and brought it home. After this he went to his work. It is alleged that bank employee Amarjit Singh followed him home. He attacked Sundarlal’s wife Bindra Kaur who was alone in the house.

The injured woman was first taken to the civil hospital in Tohana. When her condition became critical, the doctors referred her to Agroha. Sundarlal had also reached home at the time of the incident, but before he could come inside, the accused jumped over the wall and fled.

The accused fled leaving his helmet, bag and bike on the spot. Sundarlal runs a tyre puncture shop in the village and also cultivates a few acres of land. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. More details will be released soon.
