Bank Clerk commits suicide due to harassment from Manager, Read his suicide note

A bank clerk committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance on Khanori Road in Kaithal. In the suicide note, four people have been accused of mentally harassing them. In this case, a case has been registered in the city police station against four people including the bank manager and the head.

In the complaint given in the city police station, Chaushala resident Sheela Devi said that she has two daughters and a son. Both daughters are married and one son is unmarried. Her husband Rajbir was working as a clerk in the Khadalwa Mataur Agriculture Government Committee. Husband took C.C.L loan from this bank and the installments were being paid continuously, but manager and staff were pressurizing her husband to pay the entire loan in one go. They also came to his house.

If the loan was not repaid, they would threaten to remove him from the job. Due to this her husband was very worried. The husband had repaid a loan of five lakh rupees to manager Ramkumar Sharma on January 22, but the manager did not give any receipt for these five lakh rupees to the husband. He said that the entire loan should be repaid and then receipt will be provided.

The wife said in the complaint that people started pressurizing her husband to pay the loan installments in lump sum, due to which the husband started becoming mentally disturbed. On February 1, the husband went for his duty at 9 am as usual. At around 2 pm, she received a phone call that his husband Rajbir had ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance on the Khanauri bypass road side.

The wife told that a suicide note was also found in the husband’s pocket in which the husband has written all the things. The husband ended his life by consuming poisonous substance due to pressure and harassment from the persons, Pradhan Nirmal Singh, Rakesh, Bishan Singh and Manager Ramkumar Sharma.

ASI Sandeep of the city police station said that on the basis of complaint, a case has been registered against four accused and Further investigation is being conducted.
