Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident has come to light from Pisawan town, where Sushil Babu (50), a cashier at the District Cooperative Bank, was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. His body was discovered inside a room locked from the inside, with blood coming from his mouth, raising serious questions about the cause of death.

Sushil Babu was a resident of Mudia Hafiz village under the Bhojipura police station area of Bareilly district. He was living in a rented room in Pisawan due to his job. According to information, he went to sleep in his room on Monday night.
On Tuesday morning, when Sushil did not report to the bank, branch manager Pramod Kumar tried to contact him by phone. After several calls went unanswered, the manager, along with other bank staff, went to his rented room. The door was locked from inside, and despite repeated calls, there was no response.
Fearing something was wrong, the bank staff informed the police. The police first contacted Sushil’s wife over the phone and then broke open the door. Inside, they found Sushil lying motionless on the bed, with blood visible from his mouth.
A forensic team was called to the spot to collect evidence. During the investigation, the police recovered some medicines and medical prescriptions from the room. However, no suicide note was found.
Station House Officer Virendra Tomar said that the family members have reached the spot and have not made any allegations against anyone so far. The police said the exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report, and further action will be taken accordingly.
