What Happened?

The incident occurred on July 5 near Balaji Dharamkanta in Pacheri Kalan. According to police reports, the group was drinking alcohol together when an unknown man came into the area. The men questioned him, but he didn’t share his name or details. This made them suspicious. In a drunken rage, the group started beating him badly, thinking he was a spy. Unfortunately, the man died due to the severe assault.

Who Are the Accused?

According to Acting SP Devendra Singh Rajawat, the five people arrested are:

  • Kartik Sharma – Axis Bank Manager, Narnaul
  • Sunil – Kartik’s driver
  • Surendra alias Ballu Yadav – Brick kiln owner from Pacheri Khurd
  • Dhananjay alias Kalu – Nephew of Ballu Yadav
  • Vikram Gurjar – Worked at a local weighbridge (Dharamkanta)

All five accused have confessed to the crime and are now in police custody.

Attempt to Hide the Crime

After killing the man, the group tried to make it look like a road accident. They dragged the body for about 20 metres and dumped it on the roadside, around 100 metres away near RR Hotel on Singhana Road.

The body was found the next morning by locals. It was naked and had serious injuries, including deep wounds on the head and signs of being dragged. The man’s left wrist had “KK” tattooed, and a pair of “SKYLARK” slippers were found nearby.

How Police Caught Them

The body had no ID or documents. A dog squad and forensic team were called. A sniffer dog kept returning to Balaji Dharamkanta, raising suspicion.

Police began checking local surveillance footage and found signs of a group drinking there. Two suspects, Ballu Yadav and Vikram Gurjar, were missing. Acting on a tip, the police caught Vikram, who confessed and told everything. Based on this, the other four were arrested.

Victim Still Not Identified

The identity of the victim is still unknown. The body has been kept at Buhana hospital mortuary. Police have sent out alerts across Rajasthan and Haryana, and are requesting the public to help in identifying the deceased via social media, posters, and newspapers.

The police are still investigating this brutal murder. All the accused are currently in police custody, and efforts are being made to identify the victim and understand the full motive behind the crime.
