AU Small Finance Bank Manager commits suicide due to Extreme Work Stress

Another case of suicide has been reported in AU Small Finance Bank, Bangalore. Biju John, National Sales Manager at AU Small Finance Bank, has allegedly committed suicide due to growing workplace stress and corporate culture.
According to reports from the All India Microfinance Employees Trade Union (AIMETU) and several social media posts by his colleagues, Biju John took his own life shortly after attending an official meeting. He was allegedly facing humiliation in meetings, one-sided decisions, and heavy work pressure from senior officials.

Colleagues claim that he was often publicly scolded during conference calls and meetings, which deeply affected his self-respect. Despite his strong professional track record, he was reportedly cornered by supervisors, leaving him mentally exhausted.

AIMETU and employees allege that the work culture had become toxic, with unrealistic targets, lack of empathy, and silence from HR. They say that the bank environment has turned into one of constant fear and pressure, rather than growth and teamwork.

Why these people commit suicide if they have decided to kill themselves why they first not kill the culprit and then take such extreme step ,so that others can learn a lesson and thus spreading a message to other such higher authority.
