All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Association (AIPNBOA) has called for an emergency meeting on 7th March 2025. This meeting is related to the new transfer policy for officers recently introduced by Punjab National Bank.
PNB Bank Employees are protesting against the new Transfer Policy. As per the new policy, an officer will be posted for 3 years in a branch, 6 years in a circle and 9 years in a zone. The employees are protesting as this transfer policy will severely impact their family and social life.
Meanwhile, the bank management has released a list of candidates who have completed 6 years in a circle and 9 years in a zone. This has intensified the protest and employees are protesting vehemently. Due to the release of list, AIPNBOA has called an emergency meeting to decide the future course of action. Important decisions might be taken in this meeting and strike might also be announced. More details on this incident will be provided soon.
This new transfer policy must not be implemented as it will hamper the family life of the employees which will ultimately affect bank’s business. This will harm the work-life and enthusiasm of working and will drastically cause family hamper especially for the mother’s. Henceforth the policy will cause only downfall of the bank
