The excerpts of the letter released by AIBEA are as follows:
As decided in our Guwahati CC meeting, we are now in the midst of our agitational programme on the important demand of adequate recruitment in the Banks and our opposition to outsourcing the regular permanent jobs. As per reports, meetings have been held by our Unions at various levels to explain the demands. Wherever meetings have not been held, the same should be completed at the earliest. So far our campaign programmes like Twitter programme, Badge wearing, etc. have been responded enthusiastically by our rank and file members.
Now we need to move on to the next phase of our preparatory programmes before we plunge into strike actions in December, 2023 and January, 2024. We had planned a Massive Rally in Delhi by end of November, 2023. Due to non-availability of the venue, police permission, etc. this programme is being deferred now. During the winter session of the Parliament, we shall hold a Dharna before Parliament and the date and details thereof will be informed in due course.
