Shaista, a 30-year-old woman from Amroha who recently started working at a bank in Delhi, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Her body was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan in her flat located in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. This shocking incident took place just two months after she had started her new job.
Shaista was the daughter of the late Aftab Ahmed and lived in Mohalla Chebda, Amroha. She was the third of four siblings. After securing the bank job in Delhi, she moved there and started living alone in a rented flat.
According to her family, everything seemed fine. On Sunday evening, she had gone to visit Jama Masjid in Delhi. While she was there, she even spoke to her family over a video call. During the call, Shaista looked happy and didn’t mention any kind of problem or stress. However, later that night, her lifeless body was found hanging inside her flat.
The security guard of the apartment building noticed something suspicious and informed the police. When police arrived at the scene, they found the flat locked from inside and discovered Shaista’s body. As soon as the family got the news, they rushed from Amroha to Delhi.
After the post-mortem, the family buried Shaista’s body, but they are not convinced it was suicide. They have accused a young man from Amroha of killing her. They believe that it was not a case of suicide but a well-planned murder, and they want a proper investigation.
At present, the Delhi Police has started investigating the case. They are examining all possible angles and collecting evidence to determine the truth. Meanwhile, CO City Arun Kumar has said he has no official information about the incident yet.
The case has left the family heartbroken and the local community in shock. Everyone is hoping for justice and a fair investigation.
