World Bank Opens Applications for 2025 Internship Program, Check Eligibility and Apply

The World Bank has opened applications for its 2025 internship program, offering students a chance to gain hands-on experience in global development. The program provides an opportunity to contribute fresh ideas, conduct research, and work on projects aimed at reducing poverty and improving living conditions worldwide.

Interns will work across various teams and departments, gaining valuable professional experience while expanding their skill sets and networks. The internship is open to candidates interested in both operational and support roles. Eligible fields include economics, finance, public health, education, nutrition, social sciences, agriculture, environmental studies, engineering, urban planning, natural resource management, and private sector development. Corporate support roles such as accounting, communications, human resources, IT, and finance are also included.

Internship Benefits and Locations

Interns will receive an hourly wage for their work. Additionally, managers may provide up to USD 3,000 for travel expenses, covering airfare to and from the duty location. However, accommodation costs are the intern’s responsibility. Most internships will be based in Washington, DC, with some opportunities in World Bank country offices.
