Thieves Break into Ludhiana Bank, Attempt to Open Safe

A group of thieves targeted a bank in Ludhiana, breaking in during the night and stealing valuable items. The incident took place at the Central Bank Cooperative Branch in Tibba, where around 3 to 4 criminals entered the premises by cutting the bank’s scissor gate.

Thieves Steal Electronic Equipment and Tamper with Records

Once inside, the thieves stole computers, generator batteries, and router switches from the bank. They also tampered with bank records in an attempt to hide evidence or manipulate data.

The criminals tried to open the bank’s safe using a drill or cutter, but they were unsuccessful in breaking it. Despite their efforts, they failed to access the money stored inside.

Bank Employees Discover the Break-in

The next morning, bank employees arrived at work and were shocked to see the gate cut open and the bank’s equipment scattered. They immediately alerted the police about the incident.

Mandeep Singh, a resident of village Rania, police station Dehlon, and an employee of the bank, reported the crime to the Sahnewal police station.

Investigation Underway

The police have begun their investigation by interrogating bank employees and reviewing the CCTV footage from the bank’s security cameras. A case has been registered against the unknown thieves, and efforts are being made to identify and catch the culprits.
