Sunshine Pictures Limited, incorporated in 2007, is a film production company involved in creating, developing, producing, marketing, and distributing films, TV serials, and web series. It is a technology-driven content creator that focuses on innovative commercial films, handling everything from script development and production to intellectual property rights, monetization, and distribution. The company has produced several successful and socially relevant films such as Force, Commando, Holiday, Force 2, Commando 2, and The Kerala Story. So far, it has produced ten commercial films (six of them co-produced), two web series, two TV serials, and one short film. Currently, it is co-producing two films with Jio Studios and producing one web series for Doordarshan. Sunshine Pictures works both as a sole producer and as a co-producer with reputed studios, maintaining a balance between co-productions and standalone projects to manage risks and revenues, especially in big-budget productions. The company also has a strong digital presence on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, with 162,960 YouTube subscribers, 9.18 crore views, and 104,500 followers on Instagram and Facebook, generating additional revenue through content streaming. As of December 15, 2024, it has 28 full-time employees.
