SBI Partners with Jagriti Yatra 2024 to support Young Entrepreneurs

State Bank of India (SBI), the nation’s largest bank, has joined hands with Jagriti Yatra 2024, an inspiring 8,000-km, 15-day entrepreneurial journey that traverses India’s Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. This initiative aims to support 500 young aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with opportunities to explore innovative business ideas, receive expert mentorship, and gain practical experience. Through this partnership, SBI is driving its vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) by 2047, equipping young innovators with the skills and resources to foster sustainable economic growth and build a self-reliant nation.

SBI’s Commitment to Entrepreneurship

SBI has long been a champion of entrepreneurship, offering training and financial assistance across the country. The bank has established 152 Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs), which focus on empowering rural youth by providing them with skills to create micro-enterprises.

In addition to SHG loans, SBI has disbursed more than ₹49,000 crore under the Mudra Loan Scheme and ₹1,550 crore under the PM SVANidhi Scheme during FY24, further reinforcing its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship at every level.
