Lalu’s son Tejpratap Yadav orders Cop to Dance or Else he will be suspended

RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav stirred controversy during Holi celebrations on Friday after ordering a uniformed police officer to dance, warning him of suspension if he refused.

“Hey, constable! We’ll play a song, and you have to dance,” Tej Pratap said, pointing at the officer. He further added, “If you don’t dance, you could be suspended. Don’t mind, it’s Holi!” The officer complied, briefly dancing amidst party supporters.

The son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav also participated in the ‘kurta faad’ ritual, where people’s clothes are torn after applying colors. A video from the event shows his supporters forcefully ripping a man’s pants and pushing him to the ground, despite his protests.

Political Backlash

The incident drew sharp criticism from across the political spectrum.

Tej Pratap’s Political Jibe

During the celebrations, Tej Pratap also took a dig at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, stating, “He doesn’t deserve to be called uncle. Everyone has seen his mentality.” Declaring that the “real Holi” would be celebrated when RJD returns to power, he urged supporters to “start preparing for elections.”
