About Jay Ambe Supermarkets IPO
Jay Ambe Supermarkets Limited, incorporated in 2020, is engaged in trading a wide variety of products such as FMCG goods, groceries, home textiles, home décor, clothes, toys, gift items, footwear, and other household essentials through its chain of supermarkets. The company follows a franchise model, where franchisees operate retail marts under its brand name by paying an initial fee and annual licensing charges.
The company’s retail brand, City Square Mart, was first launched in August 2018 in Kudasan, Gandhinagar. Over six years, it has grown steadily and now operates 17 stores across Gujarat. Its product range includes FMCG food and non-food items, packed and loose groceries, household and general merchandise, consumer durables, luggage, home textiles, garments for men, women, and children, footwear, toys, gift articles, stationery, imitation jewellery, and more.
As of March 31, 2025, Jay Ambe Supermarkets Limited employs 132 people, of which 115 are permanent staff working across different locations and 17 are outsourced from security agencies. The company’s key strengths include strong vendor relationships, a wide product range, an experienced management team, a customer-friendly refund policy, and a consistent record of profitability and financial performance.
