Job Profile:
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the retail banking business of your branch. This includes driving operational efficiency, expanding the customer base, increasing product penetration, and ensuring high-quality customer service. You will also lead branch-level strategy, people management, and collaboration with internal teams to meet overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the branch.
- Lead all branch operations, including customer service, administration, sales, and distribution.
- Drive achievement of product targets across CASA, Investments, Insurance, Trade Services, Time Deposits (TD), Business Banking, and asset products like Home Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Analyze local market conditions and identify current and future business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with individual and corporate customers to enhance business growth.
- Promote the branch and brand presence within the catchment area.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
- Share best practices with other branches and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Deliver branch profitability through consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, training, and manpower planning for both on-roll and off-roll staff.
- Coach and develop branch personnel to build a high-performing team.
- Evaluate and implement new initiatives across products, channels, and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated banking solutions to customers.
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Mentor senior team members and promote a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and compliance.
