Upon being alerted, the Bengaluru city police acted swiftly, launching investigations and confirming that the threats were unfounded. As a precaution, the colleges evacuated students and staff while bomb disposal squads conducted extensive searches to ensure safety.

A prior incident involved Bishop Cotton School in central Bengaluru, which also received a bomb threat via email. The sender, identified as Venkataraman, claimed that a bomb had been planted on the campus and would explode at 3:30 PM. Although the email was sent at around 9 AM, school authorities only noticed it at 3 PM and immediately informed the police. A detailed search revealed no explosives, and the threat was declared a hoax.

These hoaxes have caused significant disruption and alarm, prompting authorities to intensify investigations. Officials are urging the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with security measures as they work to prevent such incidents in the future.
