New Delhi: HDFC Life Insurance has revealed a possible data breach involving its customers’ information. In a regulatory filing, the company disclosed that an unidentified source had contacted them, sharing specific customer data fields with apparent malicious intent.

In response, HDFC Life has launched a detailed investigation, working with cybersecurity experts to determine the breach’s root cause and assess its impact. The company is conducting a comprehensive information security review and analyzing data logs to mitigate future risks.

“We are fully committed to addressing customer concerns and will take all necessary measures to safeguard their interests,” the company stated.
