Aryavart Bank: A serious incident took place at Aryavart Bank in Malpur, Bhira police station area, when a customer, Dinesh Kumar, had a heated argument with bank employees. The situation escalated when the customer tried to commit suicide by pouring petrol on himself outside the bank. Thankfully, bystanders and the police acted quickly and stopped him.

What Happened in Aryavart Bank: What Customer Told

On Friday, Dinesh Kumar came to the bank to deposit ₹90,000 into his loan account. However, he had forgotten his passbook at home. He asked a female employee for his account number, but she directed him to Sumit Singh, another bank employee. When Kumar went to Sumit, he found him distracted by his phone and not ready to help. After asking for his account number again, Sumit reportedly got angry and altercation started.

This upset Kumar, and he left the bank in frustration. Outside the bank, he poured petrol on himself in an attempt to take his life. Luckily, some people nearby saw him and stopped him before anything serious happened. A crowd quickly gathered, and during the commotion, someone in the crowd reportedly attacked both Kumar and a bank employee with a sugarcane. The police arrived shortly after and managed to control the situation.

What the Involved People Said:

Kumar later explained that he had only come to deposit the money but had forgotten his passbook. He was trying to get his account number from the bank employees but got upset when he was treated badly. Feeling mistreated, he tried to harm himself.

The Bhira police officer, Pushpraj Kushwaha, confirmed that the dispute was between Dinesh Kumar and the bank cashier, but no official complaint had been made yet. He said that action would be taken once a formal complaint was received.

What Aryavart Bank Manager said?

The bank manager, Abhishek Kumar, gave a different version of the story. He said that Kumar was drunk when he came to the bank and was asking for account details that didn’t belong to him. As per bank rules, the staff refused to share the details, which made Kumar angry. The bank manager also filed a complaint with the police after the incident.
