
The Sadar police station has filed a case against Dilip Kumar Roshan, the credit manager of IndusInd Bank. Branch manager Dharmendra Kumar alleged to the police that Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (IndusInd Bank) provides microloans to women in villages through their bank accounts for self-employment. Female members deposit the loan through weekly installment meetings.
Dilip Kumar Roshan, the branch credit manager of the bank residing in Savaiya Post, Mahalwara Chandauli, collected an advance payment of Rs 4,97,000 from 30 women of several villages and kept it with him. He was collecting their weekly installments himself. During a visit to the center meeting, when the members revealed that they had already paid the money to Branch Credit Manager Dilip Kumar, but their outstanding installment still appeared on the portal. Dilip Kumar admitted during interrogation that he had taken Rs 97,000, claiming they were in need, and assured to return the money by depositing it from his home. However, he has not returned the money even after a week has passed since he left to bring it. The credit manager and his relatives are now threatening violence instead of returning the money.
