Sumit Kumar, a resident of Haryana, reported an untoward incident to the police. Sumit, who works as a clerk in Canara Bank was driving with his brother-in-law on May 30 around 5:45 pm. Due to privacy concerns, details of the victim have been withheld.
As they approached the temple near the bus stand, their path was suddenly blocked by a car driver. Shortly after, a group of four or five youths arrived in a car armed with sticks. They proceeded to break the glass of Sumit’s car and, disturbingly, had their mouths covered with cloth. In a shocking turn of events, they also struck Sumit’s right hand with the sticks before fleeing in their car. Sumit immediately reported the incident to the police, providing them with all the necessary details.
