Bank Employees beaten by Loan customer in Uttar Pradesh

In Konch of Jalaun district, a team of bank employees was attacked by a defaulter and villagers when they went to recover a loan. The defaulter and his associates assaulted the team and snatched away the tractor that was being used for loan recovery. The incident was captured on CCTV camera. The bank manager lodged a complaint with the police, and an investigation has been initiated.

Details of the Incident

Anubhav Sachan, a resident of Orai, lodged a complaint with the Kotwali police. He stated that he works as a manager in IndusInd Bank Orai. Along with the branch’s cluster head Imran Khan and salesman and collection employee Sajjit Kumar and Satish Patel, they went to the house of defaulter Malkhan Singh Pal in Teetra Khalilpur village to collect the installment of the tractor loan. The defaulter initially expressed his inability to pay but eventually agreed to hand over the tractor voluntarily.

However, as the team members were returning with the tractor, the defaulter and his associates attacked them at Panchanan intersection in Konch. They beat up the officers and employees and snatched the tractor. The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera.

Police Investigation

The branch manager has demanded action against the attackers, and the Kotwali police have started an investigation into the matter. The police assured that action will be taken against those who assaulted the bank employees.
