Bank Employee Robbed Near Ayodhya’s Pura Kalandar Area; Police Begin Investigation

A shocking robbery case involving a bank employee has been reported in Ayodhya district. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon near the regional workshop of the Transport Corporation, which falls under the Pura Kalandar police station area, close to the Prayagraj highway.

The victim, Ram Achal Verma, who works at a bank, was waiting for a public transport vehicle to go to Pratapgarh. While he was standing near the roadside, a car with three men approached him. These men pretended to offer him a lift and convinced him to get into their car.

Once he was inside, the situation turned dangerous. The three men robbed him by taking away Rs 8,000 in cash, his ATM card, and some important documents from his pocket. Not only that, but they also threatened to kill him if he resisted. After taking everything, they pushed him out of the moving vehicle and sped away.

The case was immediately reported to the police. Inspector Devendra Singh, who is in charge of the Pura Kalandar police station, confirmed that a case of robbery has been filed based on the victim’s complaint.

The police have started an investigation to find out who the criminals are and what their intentions might have been. A special team has been formed to track down and arrest the accused.

This incident has created fear and anger among local residents. People are concerned about their safety, especially along busy highways like the Prayagraj road. The police have assured the public that the miscreants will be caught soon and strict action will be taken against them.
