Bank employee beaten by customer for loan recovery

A bank employee, who went to the village to collect the installment of a loan, was subjected to assault. Additionally, attempts were made to set his bike on fire. The employee sustained injuries on the head and hands during the assault. Relationship Officer Rupesh Saini of Bandhan Bank has filed a report with the Ranoli Police regarding the incident.

Alleged Sequence of Events: It is alleged that, in order to collect the installment money, Rupesh Saini visited the home of a woman named Geeta in the village of Raipur. Initially, an attempt was made to siphon off petrol from his bike and set it on fire. Subsequently, there was an unsuccessful effort to snatch his bag, which contained Rs. 22,700. The accusation further claims that Mahendra apprehended him, and Raju, along with others, subjected him to physical assault using wooden sticks. They even attempted to strangle him.

Police Response: The Ranoli Police have registered a case, initiating an investigation into the sequence of events. The victim’s injuries and the attempted assault are being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.
