About the Department:

The Retail Lending (RL) – Wheels division focuses on the bank’s vehicle loan offerings, including Auto Loans, Car Loans, and related financial products. The department plays a key role in expanding the bank’s lending portfolio across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets by delivering customized loan solutions.

About the Role:

The Sales Manager – Auto Loans will be responsible for sourcing business through channel teams and direct customer engagement. The role requires nurturing relationships with bank branches, executing market activities to drive business, handling end-to-end loan processes from customer acquisition to disbursement, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve business targets by sourcing Auto Loans through channels, branches, and market activities.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with bank branches and cross-sell other financial products.
  • Organize and participate in sales promotion activities, expos, and events to improve visibility and sales.
  • Launch and promote new loan products in the assigned market.
  • Ensure smooth processing from customer login to loan disbursement by coordinating with internal teams (Credit, Operations, etc.).
  • Acquire new channel partners (Connectors) for business sourcing and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Monitor branch relationships and ensure ARMs (Auto Relationship Managers) meet performance goals.
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent or risky proposals.
  • Provide feedback to the central team to improve product features and internal processes.
  • Conduct product and sales training for the team and partners.
  • Create a high-performance, motivated work culture through strong team management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduation and Post-Graduation in Management from a recognized institute.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Auto Loans or similar financial products.

Role Proficiencies:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and the local language.
  • Proven ability in lead generation, conversion, and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High sales orientation and client relationship management skills.
  • Capacity to handle complex client situations and provide solutions.
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills in a dynamic work environment.
