Job Purpose:
As a Relationship Manager in the Agri Banking vertical, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing Agri SME clients, driving sales of financial products, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You will play a key role in executing marketing strategies, performing due diligence, and achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Responsibilities:
- Focus on acquiring Agri SME clients through direct marketing and branch banking channels.
- Minimize third-party sourcing and prioritize direct sourcing.
- Conduct first-level due diligence and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Handle sales inquiries via telephone and personal visits to convert prospects into clients.
- Engage with customers for document execution and ensure smooth completion of the sales process.
- Meet monthly disbursement targets at the desired Interest Rate of Return (IRR).
- Generate leads and acquire new clients through direct marketing efforts.
Non-Financial Responsibilities:
- Coordinate for timely clearance of file discrepancies to ensure smooth loan sanction and disbursement.
- Monitor accounts regularly to detect early warning signs and take preventive measures.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s policies and maintain high standards of customer service.
Compliance & Risk Responsibilities:
- Verify the authenticity of KYC and financial documents by conducting Original Seen and Verified (OSV) checks.
- Address early delinquency cases promptly and report any adverse information about clients.
- Maintain a clean record of documents and resolve any pending documentation (PDD & OTC) in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in any field.
- 2-5 years of experience in working capital sales, preferably in Agri Banking.
Functional Competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of the geography of the job location (Bhopal and surrounding areas).
- Basic understanding of financial products and banking processes.
