About Atlanta Electricals IPO
Atlanta Electricals Limited, established in December 1988, is a manufacturer of power, auto, and inverter duty transformers in India. By March 31, 2025, the company’s product range included six types of transformers: power transformers, inverter-duty transformers, furnace transformers, generator transformers, and special-duty transformers.
The company operates across 19 states and three union territories, supplying around 4,400 transformers with a total capacity of 94,000 MVA to state and national power grids, private companies, and renewable energy projects. It has five manufacturing facilities—four of which are currently operational. Two are located in Anand, Gujarat, one in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and a new unit in Vadod, which started commercial production in July 2025.
As of March 2025, Atlanta Electricals served 208 customers, including major names like GETCO, Adani Green Energy, Tata Power, and SMS India. The company also exports its products to international markets such as the United States, Kuwait, and Oman.
Its key strengths include a broad product portfolio tailored to customer needs, a strong order book with a wide customer base, an experienced management team, and modern manufacturing facilities that emphasize quality, regulatory compliance, and safety. The company also has a consistent track record of profitability in an industry with high entry barriers.
