5 robbers arrested for looting Punjab National Bank Branch in Odisha

Jajpur, Odisha: On Friday, the police made a significant breakthrough in a robbery case involving a Punjab National Bank branch in the city. Five individuals were apprehended in connection with the incident. The suspects were found in possession of stolen items, including two bikes, computers, a printer, and closed circuit cameras.

The incident took place at the Punjab National Bank branch near Boulanga Square, specifically within the jurisdiction of the Mangalpur police station. The robbers attempted to gain access to the strong room but were unsuccessful in breaking into the treasury box. Instead, they stole computers, printers, and closed circuit cameras.

In response to the incident, a complaint was filed with the Mangalpur police. This led to a thorough investigation, resulting in the subsequent arrests of the accused individuals. The arrested individuals are residents of the Mahanga and Panikoili areas. The police are actively pursuing the case and are working towards recovering any stolen items that have not yet been found.
